Registration for my next six-week online Foundations of Fractions workshop opens September 11, 2020 at 8 am PDT. This $297 workshop begins on September 28, 2020 and ends on November 6, 2020. You have access to the content for an additional ten weeks until January 25, 2021.

  • Have a better understand where student thinking is coming from and where it's going, because we will investigate the progression from 1st grade through 6th grade.
  • Be a master of fraction 3-Act Tasks. You'll get to work through tasks with me and see the purposeful moves I make while teaching a 3-Act Task.
  • Identify where your students might have gaps in their understanding. Then know how to provide a healthy balance of conceptual understanding, application, and procedural fluency tasks for your students.
  • Know how to anticipate, sequence, and monitor student work in order to identify the common misconception and errors in student work and determine some valuable next steps of action.

Graham Fletcher has served in education as a classroom teacher, math instructional lead, and currently as a math specialist. His work with the math progressions and problem-based lessons has led him to present throughout North America and beyond.
